Make a Wish

We had the most perfect night last Friday night!

We had the opportunity to go to our niece Cami's Make-a-Wish event, where the wizard granted Cami her wish! It was so fun and magical to see!

Princess Belle and Princess Cinderella came to tell Cami that she gets to go to Disney World with her family at the end of February for 1 week!! To see the smile on her face was priceless! Watching what Cami has endured the last 7 months has been awful, a roller coaster of emotions (for everyone)! But then to see her sweet little smile when the Princesses told her the good news, it was all just amazing! Make-a-Wish is truly amazing!

This is the moment that got me!

These stars represent a child with a life threatening illness!

This is Cami raising her star! I got emotional watching her do it, because to me it signified her journey the last 7 months and the journey she has ahead for 2 1/2 more years. As she slowly raised the star to to the top, I thought to myself, "she did it! she made it to the top!" And I know that Cami will make it! Watching her through this battle has been amazing and sad all at once! No child should ever have to go through "childhood cancer" or any other disease! Cami has been one brave little girl! I cant even put into words what I think of her and her family! Pat and Chel are the most wonderful parents ever!
