Happy 1st Birthday Callie

She is officially one years old today! I really can't believe it! I am in denial. It is so weird to me that one year ago, I had this little angel all bundled up in my arms. She just sat there, she didn't wiggle, or try to escape from me. I could just look at her for hours. I still want to do those things, but for those of you who know Callie, she just wont sit there long enough for me to enjoy those moments! : ) I can't believe in one year how much these little ones grow. It is truly a miracle. I knew that I loved Callie the day I found out that I was pregnant, and then my love grew the day I gave birth to her and was able to see that little thing. But now after a year of watching her, and caring for her and being there for every need, I love her so much more. There is nothing in this world that makes my heart melt like her little giggle, and I absolutely love her BIG smile....the way her cheeks are so big that her eyes almost close and then her little button nose will scrunch up just enough for her little teeth to be seen. I love those dimply knuckles, and her wrists how it looks like rubber bands are around them because they are so chubby. I love her long feet! She has never been able to fit into clothes/pj's that have footies on them because of her cute feet! I love that her hair has been through many changes....dark and thick, fallen out, thin and blond, and now medium brown and getting thicker.

Callie is an amazing little girl, she already has this amazing zest for life. She loves being in this world. She wants everyone to know that she has arrived (by screaming a high pitch scream)! She doesn't have stranger anxiety. She loves everyone. And she especially loves animals. I really don't want to get a pet, but the way she loves cats, dogs, fish, etc. I think that I might have to give in one day.

I love watching her learn how to do things and figure them out all by herself!She is truly a blessing and a miracle! I am so grateful for my little baby girl! I cant remember what life was like without her!
