Ok so on Friday August 1st, Callie said Mama! I couldn't believe what I was hearing! It was so clear! She has dadadada dadadada for awhile now, and I love it! But when she said mama I was so excited! Yeah!

Congrats! What a memorable moment.
I don't think there's much better than hearing your child call you "mama." I've always thought that, and always appreciated it so much, but never more than when I hear it from Lucy...since we've gone through so much to get her to that point! Oh my word that Callie is so incredibly cute! I'm so sad we didn't get to see you guys this summer. We miss you! I'm so glad to be connected on this blog now though. I've got to add you Carvers to my blog list so I can check more regularly. Anyway, just know we love you guys and love the blog!
I got a report from Benj last night that everything is officially moved in! I LOVE your house! Maybe someday we could be neighbors. :) If you need any help unpacking, let me know. That's a big job.
