So it is official, Callie has her first cold! We almost made it to the 7 month mark. On Sunday she started to sneeze a lot and had kind of a messy nose but by Tuesday her nose was a running drain. It was really sad, she didn't want me to wipe it, or syringe it, or put sayline drops in it! Her nose was a lost cause! I wasn't sure if it was allergies, teething, or a cold. But the poor thing couldn't breath very well and struggled sucking on the bottle. So I made a doctors appointment for Wednesday afternoon and the Dr. made it official that she has a viral infection. So Tony and I will keep the Tylenol coming, the humidifier going, and hopefully it will clear up soon!
The good thing is that she isn't too fussy! She is so sweet!

What a hard age to have your little one get sick. Well actually any age, but especially when they can't tell you how they feel or what they want. She is lucky that she has you to take care of all of her needs!!
Oh and you have only just begun with sick kids...it is no fun! That is good that she isnt too fussy. I always feel so bad. You know they have got to be just miserable with all those boogers in there nose they just cant/wont let you get out! Hope she feels better soon!
At least you made it 7 months cold-free! Viral infection, huh? That doesn't sound fun at all, I'm so sorry! Like Mindy said, it's so hard when they're little to know what's wrong with them because they can't tell you themselves. Whenever Bevin starts to cry, I ask Mindy "what's wrong with her" or "what does she need". I just feel like mom's have all the answers. LOL. Good luck with her infection and I hope she feels better soon.
